Plain paper wrapping goes in your paper & card boxes; foil or glittery paper goes in the brown bin.

Ordinary paper gift wrap is recyclable with your paper & card, but foil-coated, glittery or plastic-laminated wrap is not — those can't be processed with paper.
Getting it right
Use the scrunch test: if it stays scrunched it's paper (recycle it); if it springs back it's plastic-coated (brown bin).
Remove sticky tape, ribbons and bows first — they're general waste.
Foil and glitter wrap go in the brown general waste bin.
